At Kostanyan Law, founder and managing attorney Mrs. Kostanyan concentrates her practice in removal defense for detained and non-detained individuals. She has successfully litigated complex cases involving asylum, withholding of removal and relief under the United Nations’ Convention against Torture before Immigration Judges across the United States with 99% success rate of winning her clients’ cases and none of them being appealed by the government. She has also unequivocally won all her cancellation of removal, LPR defense and criminal immigration cases, bond and credible fear hearings. She impresses Judges and Government Counsels with her detailed, on-point supporting evidence preparation, her out-of-the-box arguments, as well as pre-trial and trial briefs in support of her clients’ asylum applications.
Additionally, Mrs. Kostanyan has extensive experience advocating for clients before Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit (9th Circuit Court), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
She is equally knowledgeable in deportation defense, including cases involving alleged immigration fraud and criminal histories. She is responsible for immigrant visa processing both in the United States and at U.S. Embassies and Consulates abroad, particularly in Armenia, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Poland, and other countries.
She counsels and represents clients on F-1, H-1B, J-1 (including waivers), E-2 treaty investor visas, P visas, L-1 and O-1 visas as well as EB immigrant visas, including labor certification (PERM), investor visas, and Regional Centers.
